Cascina Sassi San Cristoforo is located in Neive in the heart of the Barbaresco wine production area. Founded in 1997 by Angelo Sassi, the small boutique winery is now led by winemaker Davide Carniel. The program works with Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Barbera, and Nascetta. The house ages Barbaresco in large oak barrels and barriques, releasing Barbaresco DOCG San Cristoforo and San Cristoforo Riserva alongside Langhe Nebbiolo, Dolcetto d'Alba, Barbera d'Alba Superiore, Nascetta, Alta Langa, and Grappa di Barbaresco.
