About CASA LOS FRAILES

Casa Los Frailes is a family-owned 162-hectare estate in Valencia with vineyards, olive and almond trees, and Mediterranean forest at 650-700 meters altitude. The winery was certified organic in 2000 and practices biodynamic agriculture, specializing in authentic Mediterranean wines from native Monastrell grapes with an average age of 40 years. The estate inherits a legacy from Jesuit Friars who lived there from the 17th-18th centuries, and has been owned by the Velázquez family for 13 generations.
