The winery was certified organic in 2000 and practices biodynamic agriculture, specializing in authentic Mediterranean wines from native Monastrell grapes with an average age of 40 years. The estate inherits a legacy from Jesuit Friars who lived there from the 17th-18th centuries, and has been owned by the Velázquez family for 13 generations.
