About Cappellano

Cappellano traces its lineage to Filippo Cappellano, a notary whose great-great-grandson built what would become a Piemonte institution. Giovanni Cappellano's work earned bronze at the Paris Universal Exposition. Teobaldo, known as Baldo, inherited the house and remade it with attention to quality. The current owner assumed stewardship as a child, carrying forward the legacy of Barolo Chinato. The program also includes Grappa.
