Briceland Vineyards

About

Briceland Vineyards was founded in 1985 by Joe Collins and Maggie Carey in Redway, California. The house produces approximately 2000 cases per year across a diverse portfolio. Red wines are fermented in small bins and hand punched, then aged up to two years in oak barrels. White wines are fermented in stainless steel in small batches. The program includes Single Vineyard Pinot Noir, Method Champenoise Sparkling Wine, and Humboldt Brut Sparkling alongside Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Arneis, Zinfandel, and Bordeaux blend. Joe Collins and Andrew Morris are the winemakers. Morris is Humboldt County's first second generation winemaker. The tasting fee is $30 per person with a charcuterie board, waived with purchase of three bottles per person.
