About

Eighty-six acres in Hartford, Maine, where Bonaventura began in 2015 with 300 grapevines planted that first April. Now over 1,500 vines grow across the property, overlooking Little Bear Pond. The program makes DeChaunac, Marechal Foch, Seyval Blanc, Leon Millot, Riesling, Marquette, and Vidal Blanc, all from estate fruit harvested by hand each fall. An 1890s barn, seventy by thirty-six feet, was renovated to house the tasting room and event space, seating up to 125. Vineyard tours and outdoor seating are available.
