Bodega Alvear

About Bodega Alvear

Bodega Alvear, the oldest winery in Andalusia, has maintained its legacy for more than 300 years in Montilla. Now managed by the eighth generation of the family, the house tends hundred-year-old soleras and produces Pedro Ximénez wines alongside Fino CB and PX 1927. The program extends to Palacio Quemado, a vineyard in DO Ribera del Guadiana yielding red and white wines. From 2016 to 2019, Bodega Alvear developed new singular white wines from Pedro Ximénez grapes. Visitors can arrange guided tours and tastings, or stay for multi-day experiences that pair lodging with guided visits.
