About Blason de Bourgogne

Blason de Bourgogne represents more than 200 families of winemakers rooted across Burgundy's vineyards, from Côte-d'Or to Mâconnais. Based in Chablis, the collective carries the Vignerons Engagés designation since 2013 in Mâconnais and since 2020 in Côte d'Or. The program spans 20 appellations, working across white wines, red wines, and Crémant de Bourgogne. Bourgogne Aligoté is made from vines on calcareous soils at 300-400 meters altitude. Bourgogne Chardonnay ages nine months on lees with 10% in Burgundy barrels. Pouilly-Fuissé, made from Chardonnay, carries 15% aged 12 months in Burgundy barrels.
