BIRA

About

BIRA was founded in 2017 in Valle de Uco by two partners with family roots in Italy. Santiago Bernasconi shapes the program, working with Sangiovese, Barbera, Nebbiolo, Pinot Grigio, and Chardonnay across vineyards in La Consulta, Gualtallary, and La Arboleda. The house leans into Italian varieties and unusual red blends for Argentina. Bianco d'Uco, Rosso d'Uco, Nicolá Brunetto, Bin Otto, Tanito, Tano, and Rosa di Rosso form the portfolio. Bin Otto, a Sangiovese-based red, has been noted for its elegance. A tasting room is available.
