About Bernard HAAS & Fils
Seven generations of winemakers in Kaysersberg, a village elected favorite in France in 2017. The 13-hectare vineyard spans Schlossberg Grand Cru, classified first in Alsace in 1975, and Côtes de Kaysersberg. Riesling, Gewurztraminer, and Pinot Gris dominate the program, though the house produces all seven Alsatian varietals under appellation control. Manual harvest and low yields define the work. The Riesling Barrique spends eight months in oak.
