Beneath the Oaks Winery

About

South of Midfield on Highway 71, Beneath the Oaks sits on 150 acres of Piwonka family land, held for just under fifty years. The property spans pecan and olive orchards, a grape vineyard, and turf farm between the Colorado and Tres Palacios rivers near Blessing. The winery produces ten Texas wines in sweet and dry styles. The tasting room pours Shiner and domestic beers alongside Stonefire pizza and charcuterie boards. Open Thursday 4pm-9pm, Friday 12pm-10pm, and Saturday 12pm-10pm. Wine club membership runs $65 quarterly for three bottles, with access to private events and visit discounts. Curbside pick-up available by appointment. Twelve thousand square feet of rustic event space anchors the property.
