These folks have been growing Italian vines they literally brought over from Tuscany back in 1885, and they're still doing it the old-school way: hand-picked, naturally fermented, small batches, zero chemicals. It's the kind of family operation that makes you believe wine should taste like actual wine.
Tasting Experiences
Standard Tasting
$25 per person for 1 hour
Includes a minimum of 6 wines consisting of any combination of unoaked Chardonnay, Oaked Chardonnay, Rosato, Zinfandel (from vines from 1885), Petite Sirah (from vines from 1885) and/or Late Harvest Chardonnay (a dessert wine).
VIP Tasting and Tour
$75 per person for 2 hours
Hosted by a Battaglini family member, includes standard tasting plus an upgrade to Zinfandel Reserve/Select, tasting from barrels/tanks, and selections from the winemaker's 'secret stash'. Includes a personal tour of the working winery and vineyard along with the opportunity to have your bottles signed if you decide to purchase any to take home. 10% discount on all purchases.
