Barton Orchards has been a Pick-Your-Own destination since 1983, spreading across 180 acres in Poughquag. The orchard operates year-round through The Apple Core, a farm stand in Poughkeepsie, while the main property opens seasonally from July 29 through November 4. The program includes hard cider from the Tap Room, a five-acre corn maze, a Petting Zoo, and a Dog Park. Barton Orchards received the 2024 Dutchess County Executive's Overall Award of Distinction and the 2022 Family Entertainment Award of Distinction.
