Barone Pizzini was founded in 1997 in Provaglio d'Iseo, in Lombardia's Franciacorta zone. The house practices organic viticulture and was the first winery to produce organic Franciacorta. The portfolio spans Golf, Animante, Animante L.A., Naturae, Satèn, Rosé, and Bagnadore. The Satèn 2021 earned Top Vino Slow recognition, while the Rosé received 3 Bicchieri from Gambero Rosso and the Bagnadore Rosé Riserva 2011 was recognized by Wine Enthusiast. Golf 1927 and Satèn are both rated excellent by Wine Enthusiast. Barone Pizzini is a Slow winery and offers vineyard tours and tastings.
