About Baldassari Family Wines, Inc.
Founded in 2003, Baldassari Family Wines began with 92 cases of Bennett Valley Syrah. Winemaker Matt Michael studied Fermentation Science at UC Davis. The program spans Pinot Noir, Malbec, Syrah, Chardonnay, Rosé, Sauvignon Blanc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2021 Bennett Valley Syrah Nolan Vineyard earned 95 points from Wine Enthusiast and Editor's Choice, alongside 94 points from Sunset International Wine Competition. Recent releases include the 2021 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir and 2021 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay Kiser Vineyard, each scoring 93 points from Wine Enthusiast. The tasting room is located in downtown Windsor.
