About Baiocchi Winery
Baiocchi operates in the Fair Play AVA, a family-run vineyard producing small lot wines from estate-grown grapes. The program focuses on Viognier and Rhone varieties, fermented with indigenous yeast and no additions, then aged with minimal sulfur and left unfined and unfiltered. Two brands shape the work. Baiocchi offers single varietal expressions, including a 2013 Viognier that earned 92 points from Jim Gordon in March 2016. gb explores blended wines with restrained oak. The tasting room sits at 82 Main Street in Sutter Creek, open Thursday through Sunday, noon to five.
