André Bergère

About

André Bergère's family has tended vineyards since 1848, across three distinct terroirs in Grand Est. La Vallée du Petit Morin, la Côte des Blancs, and le Sézannais each contribute to the house's four wine lines. Les Iconiques, Les Parcellaires, Les Coteaux, and Les Ratafias represent the work of winemakers Adrien and Annaëlle, who vinify parcels separately and practice reasoned, sustainable viticulture with minimal intervention. In 2007, the family acquired a 19th-century house on Avenue de Champagne, once home to wine merchant Louis Plomb and later the Pol Roger family. Since 2009, the property has offered bed and breakfast accommodations. Vineyard tours lead to the cellar, where visitors discover the champagne production process and taste three cuvées.
