About Alois Lageder
Founded in 1823 in Magré, Alto Adige, Alois Lageder remains a sixth-generation family operation. The winery works with 30 grape varieties across three product lines. Classical Grape Varietals, Compositions, and Crus represent distinct expressions of the house's work. Since the 1980s, the cellar has pursued experiments in climate adaptation. The vineyards embrace biodynamic farming. The LÖWENGANG Chardonnay, conceived as a visionary idea in 1984, anchors the portfolio alongside Misto Mare, Rosso Mosso, Comets, INEDITO, and RARUM. As of 2024, all vineyards, including those of 60 vintner partners, are cultivated organically or biodynamically. The winery also operates Vineria & Osteria Paradeis.
