About Adega Quinta dos Alvercões
Adega Quinta dos Alvercões is a family-run winery in Covilhã, Beira Interior, producing wines from indigenous Portuguese varietals including Síria, Fonte Cal, Jaén, and Trincadeira. The vineyard, planted on granitic hillside soils with excellent western exposure and moderated by the Zêzere River, began production in 2021 with its first bottling in 2024. The estate practices integrated production since 2001 and has been converting to organic production since 2023.
