About Stonecroft

This tiny, family-owned organic winery in Hawke's Bay grows some seriously legendary Syrah, plus excellent Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot blends, Zinfandel, Gewürztraminer, and Chardonnay. They've been at it since 1982 and actually have New Zealand's oldest Syrah vines, all hand-pruned and harvested. Pop by the cellar door in summer (Friday to Sunday, 11am to 5pm) to taste their organic wines with one of the owners, and bring a picnic if you're feeling it.
