About Abingdon Wine estate
Located in the picturesque KwaZulu-Natal Midlands at 1,140 metres above sea level, Abingdon Wine Estate is a pioneering boutique single vineyard producer and KZN's first certified estate winery. The family-run estate, owned by Ian & Jane Smorthwaite with hands-on involvement from daughter Laurie Cooper, produces over 160 different styles of certified wines from 4 hectares under vine. Visitors can enjoy wine tastings, restaurant dining on weekends, vineyard and cellar tours, and team building experiences.
