Wachenheim an der Weinstraße, Pfalz. Weingut Peter grows Riesling primarily on the soils around the village, alongside Grauburgunder, Chardonnay, Spätburgunder, Weißburgunder, and Gewürztraminer. The program moves across dry and off-dry expressions, from Gutsriesling trocken to feinherb renderings, plus a portfolio of Sekts made by traditional bottle fermentation. Riesling Sekt trocken, Riesling Sekt brut, and Weißburgunder Sekt brut anchor the sparkling work. The house received the Staatsehrenpreis in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. A tasting room welcomes visitors. Guest accommodations include the Pinot Apartment, Riesling Zimmer, Gewürztraminer Zimmer, Chardonnay Zimmer, Spätburgunder Zimmer, and Ferienwohnung Lutherische-Kirche. Food is available. Dogs are welcome.
