Weingut Bus

About

Weingut Bus has been in Insheim since 1600, though the family's winemaking reaches back to the late 16th century. Now in its seventh generation, the estate spans 40 hectares and operates under Carsten Bus. The cellar work uses natural yeasts, with aging in steel tanks and barrique. The program includes a traditional bottle-fermented Sekt alongside still wines, including a dry Grauburgunder that won best in class under 15€ at Wein am Dom 2026. A Vinothek offers tastings.
