Weingut Willi Altschuh has been in Landau in der Pfalz-Wollmesheim since 1882. Mika, Jana, Susanne, and Holger work across Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay, and Pinot, including the Gewürztraminer Spätlese and a wine called Barfuss. The house operates without employees or temporary workers. CO2 emissions per bottle run 22% lower than average. A wine lounge hosts food and live music under chef Sebastian's direction. Twice yearly wine tours and Cuvée workshops are offered to visitors. The City of Landau has awarded the house its Honor Prize ten times.
