About Weingut Wagenknecht
Sabrina and Christian Wagenknecht produce white and red wines in Essenheim, Rheinhessen. The winery opens its tasting room Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings, or by telephone appointment. Vacation apartments are available on the property. A natural garden with hammock, table and chairs is on the grounds. Monthly After Work events called HOFZEIT are hosted here. A Creative Wine Festival takes place on June 13, 2026 featuring DJ, wine, and art. The winery also offers vintage picnics for bachelor and bachelorette parties.
