About Weingut Brenneis-Koch
Matthias Koch and Verena Suratny work vineyard sites across Bad Dürkheim-Leistadt, from Herzfeld and Steinacker to steep parcels in a nature reserve. Some plots sit in the Berntal area, among them Felsenberg and Kirchenstück. Hand-harvested in multiple passes, the program spans Riesling, Silvaner, and Muskateller alongside Grauburgunder, Weißburgunder, and Spätburgunder. The cellar also works with Merlot, Syrah, Viognier, and Nebbiolo, including a 2023 Nebbiolo Pfalz Rotwein trocken. Tastings and vineyard tours are available by reservation.
