About Weingut Bickel-Stumpf
Weingut Bickel-Stumpf works two distinct Franconian terroirs from Frickenhausen am Main. Mönchshof sits on Muschelkalk-Steillage at the medieval city wall, directly at the river with southern exposure. The vineyard is a water protection area, supplying drinking water to Frickenhausen for over 1,000 years. Rothlauf occupies the steepest section of Thüngersheimer Johannisberg, where Buntsandstein mixes with lower Muschelkalk. The program includes Mönchshof GG and Rothlauf GG, alongside Crèmant Francophile. A family operation with a tasting room (Vinothek) on-site.
