The vineyard is a water protection area, supplying drinking water to Frickenhausen for over 1,000 years. Rothlauf occupies the steepest section of Thüngersheimer Johannisberg, where Buntsandstein mixes with lower Muschelkalk. The program includes Mönchshof GG and Rothlauf GG, alongside Crèmant Francophile. A family operation with a tasting room (Vinothek) on-site.
