About Weingut Michael Wiesler

Weingut Michael Wiesler has worked the Staufener Schlossberg since 1927, a steep limestone vineyard in Baden where vines older than 65 years still produce. Michael Wiesler, grandson of Karl Alfred Wiesler, leads the program with his wife Kristina. The portfolio spans Weisser Burgunder, Grauer Burgunder, Gutedel, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Spätburgunder, and Blanc de Noirs, alongside the cuvées LIESCHEN and GRETCHEN. The 2023 Gutedel took gold at GUTEDELCUP 2025 in the Klassischer Markgräfler category. The Gutsschänke opens seasonally in spring and fall. The winery welcomes visitors Monday to Friday from 15.00 to 18.30 and Saturday mornings from 09.00 to 13.30.
