Stefan Breuer founded Weinmanufaktur Stefan Breuer in May 2006 in Eltville-Rauenthal, after a decade as winemaker and managing director at Weingut Altenkirch in the Rheingau. His path began with formal training as a Weinbau-Techniker in the Rheingau, followed by international work at Pine Ridge Winery in California. The house started with one hectare and now works Spätburgunder and Riesling from the top vineyard sites Schlossberg and Bockstein. The portfolio also includes Weißburgunder and Sauvignon Blanc. Wine can be collected from the warehouse in Rauenthal by prior arrangement, or ordered with free shipping on purchases of 240 euros or more.
