Weingut Hugo Hower has been making wine in Lieser since 1684. Stefan Loersch took over the family winery in 1994, bringing training completed in Bad Kreuznach in 1984. Eva-Maria Loersch, who holds a degree in viticulture and oenology and served as Lieser's wine queen from 2018 to 2021, works alongside him. The program centers on Riesling, including RIE-Secco-LING, a sparkling wine made from 100% Riesling. The house also produces vegan wines. The Vinothek opens seasonally from Easter through October, hosting wine tastings, wine hikes, tastings with food, and farm festivals.
