About Weingut Schloss Janson
Weingut Schloss Janson occupies the grounds of the former Emichsburg Castle in Bockenheim, in the Pfalz. Kurt Janson and Sarah Janson direct the program across three tiers. Regional Wines arrive in one-liter bottles from classic German varieties. Village wines are estate-grown and bottled from Bockenheim vineyards, vinified predominantly dry. Single-Vineyard Wines are hand-picked, dry, and released in limited quantities. The Liebenswert collection spans white, red, rosé, and two bubbly seccos. Sustainable and organic farming methods guide the work. As of 2023, all wines carry organic and vegan certification.
