About Weingut Idler
Weingut Idler began in 2012 in Württemberg, working from a grandfather's cellar and barn before building a new winery in 2019. The house produces certified organic wine. The program centers on Riesling, Rivaner, and Muskateller. The 2025 Riesling Gutswein Trocken arrives via whole-bunch pressing and stainless steel aging. The 2025 Vom Keupergrund Weissweincuvée Trocken blends all three varietals, with portions fermented in wooden barrels. Vinothek Lehenstein serves as the tasting room.
Tasting Experiences
Herbstspaziergang (Autumn Walk)
Sunday vineyard walks through the vineyards showing biodynamic farming practices, including tasting of sparkling wine and two wines. Approximately 2 hours, €17 per person. Family-friendly with alcohol-free option available.
Herbstzeit (Autumn Season)
Open Sundays and German Unity Day (October 3rd) from 12-18 hours, offering wines and new wine with hearty food in the courtyard, meadow, and Vinothek. No reservation required.
Gourmet Wine Pairing Dinner
5-course menu created by Michelin-starred chef Andreas Widmann from Restaurant Ursprung, paired with wines selected by Marcel Idler. €159 per person including menu, wine pairing, mineral water, and espresso.
